DESCRIPTION: This International Women’s Day\, responsible business networ
 k Business in the Community (BITC) and Londonderry Chamber will bring toge
 ther HR managers\, line managers\, and women who have recently returned to
  or are planning on returning to work\, to explore and discuss the challen
 ges many women face when returning to the workplace. \n\n This may be due 
 to returning from maternity leave\, following carers’ leave\, or after a
  period of illness. \n\n Background \n\n Long term absence can have an eff
 ect on confidence\, energy levels\, and even ambitions. During this event\
 , we’ll be looking at the ways in which businesses can support women dur
 ing this transition period and how they can increase their retention rates
  of this cohort of a talented workforce. \n\n Agenda \n\n \n Refreshments

 Acheson (Managing Director\, Women in Business NI\, and Deputy CEO of WiB 
 Group)\, Kathleen McDermott (Executive Director\, Fintru)\, and Aoife Warr
 en. \n\n \n\n This event will take place 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at BEAM Soc
 ial Enterprise Centre\, Maydown Works\, Derry/Londonderry. Free parking is
  available and refreshments will be provided. \n\n Members and non-members
