DESCRIPTION: To coincide with World Clean-Up day on 20 September 2025\, we 
 are asking our members to take a look at home and make a donation of items
  they no longer use or need. We are also encouraging everyone to buy secon
 d hand items throughout September.  \n\n We believe in helping local commu
 nities and protecting our planet. Through our new campaign\, Sustainable S
 eptember\, you can help by donating items to local charity shops and buyin
 g second hand items throughout September. \n\n In Northern Ireland\, we th
 row out 500 tonnes a week in textiles\, equal to each person throwing out 
 3.6kg a week. Supporting charity shops helps to keep clothes out of landfi
 ll\, and lets you refresh your wardrobe without costing the earth.  \n\n A
  tidier space can make for a more relaxed mind and there are mental health
  benefits to decluttering your home. Research has shown that it is an easy
  way to reduce stress\, make you feel calmer\, happier and more in control
 .  \n\n We’ve teamed up with local charities for Sustainable September\,
  a campaign that aims to highlight the benefits of supporting charity shop
 s\, reducing waste by buying pre-loved items and de-cluttering your home. 
  \n\n This campaign is available for Business in the Community members onl
 y.  \n\n How it works  \n\n Register your interest and our team will conta
 ct you to provide all the information you need. You can choose a time-peri
 od in September that suits your organisation\, and we’ll provide you wit
 h resources to advertise Sustainable September to your staff and share wha
 t you are doing on social media.  \n\n Details of how to drop off donation
 s will be included in your pack and address for drop off will depend on yo
 ur choice of charity partner. \n\n Team volunteering opportunities are als
 o available with some charity shops\, please contact us if you are interes
 ted. These opportunities will be allocated on a first come\, first served
