DESCRIPTION: Bitlink is on the road and coming to you!  \n\n We are hosting
  FREE technology workshops at Deloraine House this July holidays for youth
  aged 9 - 16 years old.\nThese workshops are a part of our 2025 Bitlink By
 tes Regional Roadshow\, which will take the Bitlink team all across Tasman
 ia!\nWe are running these FREE technology workshops with thanks to a recen
 t STEM education grant and will set our sights on a different regional are
 a in Tasmania\, for every coming school holiday period. \n\n The second ar
 ea we're visiting is North and North East Tasmania! \n\n On Wednesday July
  16th we will be at:\nDeloraine House\n(112 Emu Bay Rd\, Deloraine\, TAS 7
 304)\nfrom 10am - 3pm. \n\n We will be running the following sessions: \n\
 n Session 1: 10am - 12pm\nClicktastic! (9 - 12yr olds)\nCreate your own cl
 icker game in MakeCode Arcade. Each time you click\, you earn points. Can 
 you compete with your friends and click your way to a new high score? Come
  along and make your own 2D video game to share with your friends and fami
 ly! \n\n Session 2: 1pm - 3pm\nCode Breakers (9 - 16yr olds)\nLearn about 
 data encryption and protecting ourselves from hackers!\nDecipher the codes
  and send encrypted messages with the BBC micro:bit. \n\n \n\n  \n \nParen
 ts/guardians are welcome to stay for the sessions\, and it is recommended 
 for\npersons under 9\, that a parental figure sits with them to help with 
 reading and\ncomprehension. \n\n By purchasing a ticket to this session\, 
 you are giving permission for your participant to be supervised by Bitlink
  staff members. Participants arriving without a ticket booking will need t
 o provide a parent/guardian contact number for the Bitlink team to phone a
 nd get verbal approval from before entering the session. \n\n These sessio
 ns are also supported by Children's University and so please bring along y
 our passports and gain some additional hours and some special stickers for
  your passport! \n\n All sessions are designed as introductory sessions. I
 f your child has worked with technology before then we will mentor them on
  how they can go that little bit further and create something new. \n\n Pa
 rents/Guardians are welcome to sit in on these sessions. If you choose to 
 do this\, please do not book a ticket for yourself (parents/guardians can 
 attend without a ticket). \n\n These sessions are popular and the tickets 
 are free. We often exhaust our full ticket allocation and have people on a
  waiting list. \n\n If you have booked a ticket and are no longer able to 
 attend that session\, please email Troy at troy@bitlink.com.au to let us k
 now\, so that we can pass that ticket on to another attendee. \n\n This pr
