DESCRIPTION: Bitlink Bytes is happening again this January school holidays!
Bitlink Bytes is a series of workshops that will give children a taste of
how to become creators rather than consumers of technology! \n\n These se
ssions are designed for children aged 9 -12. \n\n One session is being run
at the George Town Library\, and three sessions are being run at the Laun
 ceston Library. \n\n \nWe're offering 3 different sessions: \n\n \n (New)
Micro:bit Makers - Code your own Street Light\, Step Counter and more! \n
Jump &amp\; Run Fun - Create your own 2D video game! \n Pocket Monster An
imator - Create your own pocket monster evolution animations! \n \n\n All
sessions are designed as introductory sessions. If your child has worked w
ith technology before then we will mentor them on how they can go that lit
tle bit further and create something new. \n\n \nPlease note: \n\n Parent
s/Guardians are welcome to sit in on these sessions. If you choose to do t
his\, please do not book a ticket for yourself (parents/guardians can atte
nd without a ticket). \n\n These sessions are popular and we often exhaust
our full ticket allocation and have people on a waiting list. \n\n If you
have booked a ticket and are no longer able to attend that session\, plea
se email Troy at troy@bitlink.com.au to let us know\, so that we can pass
that ticket on to another attendee. \n\n These sessions are supported by L
ibraries Tasmania and Friends of the Library Launceston. \n
