 ich history that started in 1972 when founder Fred Furth\, after getting a
 n aerial view of the land from his plane\, decided to start producing wine
 . Ever since\, Chalk Hill has been producing hand-harvested wines that off
 er many and varied tasting notes due to the unique nature of the land. \n\
 n Head Winemaker\, Steve Nelson started out in genetics at the University 
 of California\, Davis but quickly discovered a passion for wine when he re
 alized "winemaking was way cooler than biotech...." He then graduated with
  a degree in viticulture\, began his career and has been at it for over te
 n years. Steve will be at the restaurant for the evening to walk guests th
 rough a tasting of four wines including Sauvignon Blanc\, two Chardonnays 
 and Pinot Noir. Executive Chef Amber Dorszynski will curate a four course 
 meal to complement these unique wines.  \n
