DESCRIPTION: BIOGRAPHY\nVirginia Luis Fuentes graduated from Cambridge\,\nw
 orking in first opinion veterinary practice for 5 years before becoming a\
 nLecturer at the University of Edinburgh. She then moved to the USA as an\
 nAssistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia\, and then the
  Ohio\nState University. She returned to the UK in 2004\, joining the Roya
 l Veterinary\nCollege\, London\, where she is a Professor of Veterinary Ca
 rdiology. She is a\npast Chair of the European College of Veterinary Inter
 nal Medicine Cardiology Specialty\,\nand was Chair of the American College
  of Veterinary Internal Medicine Feline\nCardiomyopathy Consensus Statemen
 t group. She is currently a member of the\nAmerican Society of Echocardiog
 raphy writing group for small animal guidelines\non transthoracic 2D and M
 -mode echocardiography. \n\n  \nVETS! This event is free of charge to AVSP
