DESCRIPTION: ISCD – Irish DXA Society Clinical Skills Assessment Workshop
  \n\n  \nThe Irish DXA Society will host a comprehensive one-day training 
 programme on the imaging techniques and related competencies required for 
 healthcare professionals to undertake the practical aspects of DXA scannin
 g. \n\n The basic objective of the workshop is to assist those undertaking
  the practical aspects to apply consistent and accurate technique to the s
 canning process and is suitable for all healthcare professionals engaged i
 n the practical aspects of DXA scanning. \n\n The workshop will have at it
 s core practical hands-on sessions relating to imaging technique of patien
 ts and correct use of DXA equipment. On completion of the workshop the par
 ticipants will be required to demonstrate skills in imaging technique\, co
 rrect use of DXA equipment and analysis of scan images for artefacts etc. 
 Participants will be assessed by experts and will receive a certificate of
  attendance and a sign off for the LSC portfolio. \n\n Date: Thursday\, 24
