DESCRIPTION: The Media\, Internet and Data Protection Bar Association (MIDB
 A)\, supported by the Bar of Ireland\, is a specialist association for bar
 risters who practice in\, or have an interest in\, those areas of law. \n\
 n MIDBA seeks to advance knowledge in these dynamic and fast-developing ar
 eas of law. Given the seismic changes in the media landscape in recent yea
 rs\, and with many of the largest technology companies having their Europe
 an headquarters located in Ireland\, it is essential that law practitioner
 s are kept up to date on developments in these complex and fast-moving are
 as of law. \n\n MIDBA offers full membership to practising barristers\, an
 d affiliate membership to individual and firm of solicitors. \n\n The Memb
 ership Fee are: \n\n \n Free for years 1-3\, \n €25 for years 4 - 7\, \n
  €50 for years 8+ \n €100 for Senior Counsel. \n Affiliate Membership*
  (Individual) is €100 \n Affiliate Membership* (Firm) is €500 \n \n\n 
 *Associate Membership is open to any solicitor\, or qualified barrister or
  solicitor currently\nemployed as an in-house legal practitioner. It provi
 des for all the privilege of full membership\, other than voting rights at
  General Meetings and membership of the MIDBA Committee. Associate members
  may\, however\, be co-opted onto sub-committees. \n\n Membership year sta
 rts on 30 March 2023 &amp\; expires at the start of October 2024. \n
