 of Ireland is delighted to be hosting the third annual Justice Week Interv
 arsity Debate. \n\n This year’s student participants will be representin
 g the Law Schools of UCD\, UCC\, UL\, MU\, NUIG\, DCU\, TCD and TU Dublin.
  \n\n Each Law School has nominated one student each\, and the nominees ha
 ve been organised into two teams of four where the students must join forc
 es to prepare their arguments. \n\n They will appear before a prestigious 
 panel of judges to debate the motion "This house believes that internation
 al human rights law and international humanitarian law provide adequate pr
 otections in respect of the use of autonomous weapons and systems in warfa
 re." \n\n \n\n Judging Panel: \n\n \n The Hon. Ms. Justice Nuala Butler \n

 Blacam SC \n Dr. Tom Clonan\, Columnist &amp\; Security Analyst\, Journal 
 Media \n \n\n \n\n About Justice Week \n\n ‘Justice Week’ is an annual
  campaign of the legal professions across the four jurisdictions (Ireland\
 , Northern Ireland\, Scotland\, England and Wales) and its purpose is to i
 ncrease support\, understanding and awareness of the rule of law and justi
 ce among young people. The annual intervarsity debate is a wonderful oppor
 tunity for law students\, particularly those who may be considering a care
 er as a barrister\, to hone their advocacy skills before a prestigious pan
 el of judges\; and to meet and collaborate with students of other Law Scho
