  event for junior practitioners on career opportunities in EU law. The spe
 akers will draw on their diverse experience to share insights into the d
 ifferent ways that practitioners can develop a successful career in EU law
 .  \n\n The event will be followed by a reception in the Sheds\, hosted by

  Costello BL\, Trinity College Dublin \n Jessica Egan\, Deputy Director of
  Legal Services (Competition)\, Competition &amp\; Consumer Protection Com
 mission \n Benoît Keane\, solicitor and avocat\, Brussels \n \n\n \n\n Le
 arning Outcomes: At the end of the presentation\, participants will know m
 ore about the diverse career options in the sphere of EU law and will have
  gained insights into how to develop their current practice in areas where
  knowledge of EU law is essential.  \n\n \n\n  \n \n \n \nDr Róisín Á C
 ostello BL is a practising barrister and assistant professor of EU and\nIn
 ternational Law at Trinity College Dublin. Róisín’s work is particular
 ly\nfocused on EU law\, privacy and data protection law. Róisín is an ad
 visor to the\nCouncil of Europe’s data protection unit\, is the co-edito
 r of the recent volume Data Protection After Brexit: Reflections from the 
 UK and Ireland and the author of Privacy Law in Ireland. \n\n Jessica Egan
  is a Deputy Director of Legal Services at the CCPC. She currently\noverse
 es the Competition Unit of the Legal Services Division\, a team of lawyers
 \nwho advise the organisation on all aspects of competition enforcement an
 d\nmergers. Jessica qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and previously worked
  as a\nSenior Legal Advisor at the CCPC. Prior to this\, she worked as a s
 olicitor and\nan associate in A&amp\;L Goodbody\, specialising in EU\, com
 petition and\nprocurement law. Jessica holds a degree in law and politics\
 nfrom University College Dublin\, a master’s in law from the University 
 of\nCambridge and an advanced diploma in public procurement law from the K
 ing’s\nInns. She is an active member of the Irish Society of European La
 w. \n\n Benoît Keane is a leading EU lawyer in Brussels specialising in E
 uropean sports law. He has acted in major sports cases before the European
  Commission and the Court of Justice and is representing UEFA in the landm
 ark Super League case. Benoît also appears as counsel before the Court of
  Arbitration for Sport. Originally from Cork\, he read law at University C
 ollege Cork and holds a master's degree in European law from the College o
 f Europe\, Bruges. Following his training at an international law firm in 
 London\, Paris and Brussels\, Benoît practised with international firms i
 n Brussels\, developing his specialisation in European sports law. In 2012
 \, he set up his own practice\, Keane Legal. Benoît is ranked as a leadin
 g lawyer by Chambers and Who's Who Legal. He is a regular writer and speak
 er on developments in EU law. \n\n \n\n Accessibility Requirements: At the
