 e has been the CEO of Community Law &amp\; Mediation since 2013\, where sh
 e has been instrumental in establishing its new Centre for Environmental J
 ustice. \n\n Rose will address the work of CLM’s Centre for Environmenta
 l Justice\, and emerging issues related to water rights and water pollutio
 n that are being raised in their environmental justice clinics and communi
 ty engagement. \n\n Mark Thuillier\, Associate in the Litigation Departmen
 t's Environmental and Planning team in A&amp\;L Goodbody LLP \n\n Mark has
  advised a wide range of domestic and international clients on planning an
 d environmental issues including issues of EIA\, AA\, WFD and planning com
 pliance generally. \n\n Mark will consider how the Water Framework Directi
 ve has been used\, alongside the planning framework\, to enforce water rig
 hts\, focused on recent Irish and EU decisions \n\n Christina Leb\, Senior
  Counsel at the Environment and International Law Department (LEGEN) of th
 e World Bank \n\n Christina Leb works as Senior Counsel at the Environment
  and International Law Department (LEGEN) of the World Bank where she advi
 ses on public international law and the Bank’s policy on projects on int
 ernational waterways. Prior to this position\, she was the Program Manager
  of the Central Asia Water Energy Program (CAWEP) and Thematic Focal Point
  for Transboundary Waters at the Water Global Practice of the World Bank. 
 She is also a fellow at Platform for International Water Law (University o
 f Geneva) and affiliate member of the International Water Law Academy (IWL
 A) at Wuhan University. \n\n Christina will discuss legal principles\, rig
 hts and obligations of transboundary water management\, and the implicatio
 ns of Brexit for water rights in Ireland \n\n Christopher Hughes BL \n\n C
 hristopher was called to the Bar in 2011\, and he specialises in Environme
 ntal Law\, Judicial Review\, and Immigration &amp\; Asylum Law. \n\n Chris
 topher will talk about the civil and criminal enforcement mechanisms avail
 able to individuals and organisations to protect against water pollution \
 n\n Topic:\nThis webinar will see the launch of the Climate Bar Associatio
 n as an official association of the Bar of Ireland. Coupled with the launc
 h\, an array of distinguished speakers will address the important topic of
  using law to defend water rights\, and fight water pollution. \n
