DESCRIPTION: As KVIs become further developed and integrated as key compone
nts of SNS JU projects\, challenges have emerged around how to identify wh
at is a good measure of a KV\, and how these can look different for subjec
tive and objective evaluations. Key to this is understanding how these app
roaches and instruments can be different from KPIs and what other methodol
ogical resources can be drawn upon in their development. \n\n \nThe aim o
f this workshop is twofold. First\, it will share different approaches bei
ng developed in SNS JU projects as well as approaches used by external exp
erts who also pursue indicators of social and sustainability values. Secon
d\, it will break the participants into small groups to work together to e
xplore how what was presented can inform their diverse projects. The idea
is to blend expert knowledge with interactive dialogues between SNS projec
ts that are actively working on KVIs. \n\n \n\n Objectives \n\n \n Gathe
r examples of how social and sustainability values can be assessed and eva
luated from projects and external experts. \n Explore approaches that look
beyond technical KPIs and consider non-technical evaluations of value. \n
Improve our understanding and capacity to address these value outcomes in
  practical terms\, using existing resources. \n \n\n \n\n Agenda \n\n \n
Introduction \n Part 1: Exploration of subjective and objective approache
s to social value that expand the repertoire and skills of projects applyi
ng KVIs\, focusing on areas in which projects have expressed challenges. \
n Part 2: Interactive activity that builds on what was presented and explo
res how these can become useful in projects. \n \n\n Q&amp\;A\, with guest
expert in social value analysis and indicators\, Tim Goodspeed\, to ask q
uestions and help prompt\, push\, confirm and challenge our ideas. \n\n
  \n\n Outcomes \n\n A short report highlighting trends within projects\, b
est practices\, and gaps that need addressing. These outcomes will continu
e to inform the work on KVIs and Sustainability.\n \n\n \n\n Preparatio
n Before Workshop \n\n We will send out a small set of discussion points t
o come prepared to consider and a short poll to organise contributions and
gather insights more effectively. \n \n\n \n\n Target audience \n\n Th
is is primarily for SNS JU projects working on KVIs. We welcome all intere
sted participants to join us in this workshop. We greatly encourage those
responsible for KVI development within SNS projects to participate during
the breakout sessions to contribute to a rich and productive discussion ou
 tput. \n \n \nAttendance is free\, but registration is mandatory. \n
